The ROBiPAK is a UR+ certified solution for MIG/MAG welding with the Universal Robots UR5/UR5e and UR10/UR10e. The "Ready-To-Weld" principle also applies to this system solution from ABICOR BINZEL. One ROBiPAK part number - a complete package for the Cobot. A perfect fit!
The air cooled or liquid cooled welding torch system is ideally designed to allow you to quickly complete the installation on your Cobot. Modified components such as the powerful cable assemblies, which have already proven themselves in industrial robot technology and have been adapted to the characteristics of the robots of Universal Robots, guarantee high-quality equipment. The Profinet communication between the robot and the iROB power source from ABICOR BINZEL contained in the ROBiPAK runs via a specially developed control module. A stable communication between the two devices supplemented by a proprietary URCap development enables you to easily create programs to weld with the UR Cobot. The commands "Start Welding" or "Stop Welding", as well as the function "Set Welding Parameters" help you to quickly program.
Take the plunge into automation. Especially with small lot sizes and often changing welding tasks you have the possibility to weld your welding applications robot supported.
The welding equipment from ABICOR BINZEL is exactly right for this purpose:
- Simplest operation by own program commands, for example the welding parameters can be set directly from the operating panel of the robot.
- Particularly flexible cable assemblies adapted to the movements of the robot
- Thanks to high TCP stability, you program your component only once - no frequent adjustment of waypoints necessary
- Perfect welding seams: with the iROB power source you achieve the perfect welding results
The ROBiPAK is available as an air cooled or liquid cooled version.
- Air cooled equipment is ideally suited, for example, for thin sheet welding up to approx. 290 amps.
- Liquid cooled equipment is specially designed for longer duty cycles, thicker sheets and excessive heat generation.

Distribution package
The ABICOR BINZEL system solution ROBiPAK for air and liquid cooled welding applications consists of the complete welding equipment including welding torch, torch holder, flange and cable assembly as well as the iROB power source:
- Welding torches ABIROB® A 360 or ABIROB® W 500 with 10 contact tips, 10 gas nozzles and 10 contact tip holders
- Additional 10 gas diffusers for the liquid cooled ROBiPAK with ABIROB® W 500
- The iROB power source is supplied with the iFeed wire feeder, the iROB A or W intermediate hose package and the iControl control unit. The package also includes 4 wire feed rollers and a ground cable. The liquid cooled package includes the obligatory iCool cooling unit.
- Ready to weld: A PLC with switch, power supply and pre-installed PLC software for ROBiPAK is also included. The programmable logic controller (PLC) serves as a control module for data exchange.
- The package contains all necessary manuals and a USB stick with the URCap and the installation file for the UR Robot - Ready to weld.
