Laser Triangulation for More Accuracy

TH6x evaluates the current seam position, gap information, edge offset, and welding tool position relative to the surface.

These values are measured and recorded in real time then forwarded to the robot control to guide the welding torch through the joint, adding just milliseconds to the process.

Pre-Loaded Weld Joints

The contact-free tracking of TH6x allows it to be able to seam track almost any joint shape. All of the commonly used welding joints are pre-loaded into the TH6x GUI Software for quick retrieval and easy, minimal programming. 

Interfaces via Ethernet, Serial, or Analog to all major Robot OEMs or Hard Automation systems.

TH6D comes in three options - the GF, CF, and KF. Each model differs in resolution and measuring range to precisely match up to your welding joint.

TH6D-GF is the most all-around model - capable of both thick and think sheet welding applications with a large field of view. For small seams and especially large seams, the CF and KF models respectively would be the more suitable fits. See Technical Specifications for more information.

For Narrow-Gap Butt Welds with gaps as small as .02 millimeters, TH6i is the unique solution for real-time Seam Tracking of the weld joint to guide the robot through the process.

TH6i's greyscale camera pairs with an illuminated green light which decreases the brightness of the edges.

The greyscale camera then detects the illuminated surface with a visible contrast line the recognize and relay the butt weld joint course to the robot.
