The systems in detail
The gas cooled xFUME® POWER 350M+ combination system comes standard with an xFUME® PRO 36 extraction torch for extraction at source. With this combination, you can use the unit for welding thinner sheets with up to 350 amps of power. If you are welding in a lower ampere range, the xFUME® PRO 24 fume extraction torch, the new, very light and handy xFUME® PRO 20 or a super-light xFUME® COMPACT are suitable.
The liquid cooled xFUME® POWER 450M+ combination system is equipped with an xFUME® PRO 501 extraction torch as standard. This system solution is ideal for welding medium to thick sheets in the range up to 450 amps. If you would like a version that is even easier to handle, we recommend the new xFUME® PRO 301.
ABICOR BINZEL offers both the xFUME® POWER 350M+ and the xFUME® POWER 450M+ with synergic pulse and double pulse functions as standard. Switching between high and low current has several advantages:
- Reduces heat input, thereby visibly preventing deformation, especially when welding stainless steel and aluminum
- Less welding fume formation at the point of origin, resulting in fewer emissions
- Enables clean weld seams, reducing scrap and thus minimizing the waste of valuable raw materials

Is it easy to operate the xFUME® POWER 350M+/450M+?
The operation of the xFUME® POWER 350M+/450M+ combination system can be learned in just a few minutes, as the user interface is self-explanatory. If necessary, the user interface also provides access to online application help with step-by-step instructions.
Which xFUME® extraction torches are compatible with the xFUME® POWER device?
The xFUME® POWER combination system is available in gas cooled (350M+) and liquid cooled (450M+) versions. The gas cooled xFUME® POWER 350M+ is compatible with the xFUME® PRO 36 up to 350 amps. For a lower ampere range, the xFUME® PRO 20, xFUME® PRO 24, or xFUME® COMPACT can also be used. An xFUME® PRO 36 extraction torch is supplied as standard.
The liquid cooled xFUME® POWER 450M+ combination system is supplied with an xFUME® PRO 501 extraction torch and is designed for up to 450 amps. The new, more lightweight xFUME® PRO 301 is also recommended.
Can xFUME® POWER devices also be used for TIG welding?
Both the gas cooled and liquid cooled xFUME® POWER extraction combination systems are designed for conventional MIG/MAG welding, but are equally suitable for TIG welding.
Is the adjustment system of an xFUME® POWER unit synergistic or manual?
The xFUME® POWER combination extraction system features both a synergic mode, which is particularly recommended for beginners in welding, and a manual mode for high-end professionals.
What media supply is required for xFUME® POWER devices?
The only two media required to power the xFUME® POWER combination systems are protective gas and mains power to supply the system.
What do the M and the plus sign stand for in the name xFUME® POWER?
