Replacing the pre-filter

The filter pad is the most important element. When replaced regularly, the service life of the pre-filter is prolonged. Cleaning the filter pad with compressed air or a hammer is not permitted. The filter pad must be replaced.

  1. Set the <I/0> switch to <0>.
  2. Pull out the mains plug.
  3. Unlock and open the service door using a square wrench.
  4. Remove the pre-filter.
  5. Remove the spring clamp and filter pad from the filter grill.
  6. Dispose of the filter pad in accordance with local laws and directives.
  7. Insert a new filter pad into the filter grill.
  8. Insert the spring clamp.
  9. Insert the pre-filter in the housing.
  10. Close the service door and lock it using a square wrench.
