The device is part of a welding system. Welding produces fumes that are hazardous to health; they are filtered and cleaned by the device’s internal filters.
The welding fumes are sucked through an extraction hood on the extraction arm into the middle section of the device. The fumes are sucked through a pre-filter and a main filter in the process. The filter membranes trap the dirt particles. Then the cleaned air is routed back to the environment through the exhaust air louvers.
The device can be operated with an extraction arm 2 m, 3 m or 4 m in length.
