Replacing filter cartridges

Health risk through inhalation of harmful dust

Improperly loosening the filter cartridge may damage the dust collecting bag. Harmful dust and dirt particles may escape into the ambient air. They can damage the respiratory system if inhaled.

  1. Use a dust collecting bag to remove the filter cartridge.
  2. Use a suitable tool to loosen the filter cartridge.
  3. Mind not to damage the dust collecting bag.

Damage to the rotation nozzle through faulty removal or insertion

A rotation nozzle can become damaged through faulty removal and insertion.

  1. When changing the filter cartridge, make sure not to make it wedged.
  1. Loosen the tension locks on both sides.
  2. Remove the housing and set to the side.
  3. Turn the filter cartridges (2x) counterclockwise using a suitable tool.
  4. Slide the dust collecting bag over the filter cartridges (2x).
  5. Unscrew the filter cartridges (2x) and pull out concentric between the rotary nozzles. Mind not to damage the dust collecting bags and not to wedge the filter cartridges.
  1. Dust-proof the dust collecting bags (2x) (cable/cable tie) with the filter cartridges (2x) in them.
  2. Dispose of the dust collecting bags (2x) and the filter cartridges in accordance with local laws and directives. Disposal of welding dust
  1. Insert new filter cartridges (2x) concentric between the rotary nozzles.
  1. Tighten the filter cartridges (2x). Ensure that the filter cartridges do not tilt.
  2. To ensure that they are tight, use a suitable tool to torque the filter cartridges (2x) to a maximum of 25 Nm.
  1. Position the top panel in place and secure with the tension locks on both sides.
