AutoGuide HD Optical Seam Tracking System
The AutoGuide HD is a proven system for automatic and contactless tracking of seams in joining processes. The system is supplied complete with controller, motor package, and sensor. Mounting for welding torch, laser optic, or other welding systems can be provided.
AutoGuide HD's components communicate with each other after mounting without any additional programming required. The components can be individually adapted on the frame to provide best fit to your process. AutoGuide HD easily adapts to standard linear gantry or positioners for standard applications.

AutoGuide HD Features at a Glance:
TH6x Optical Seam Tracking Sensor
The laser triangulation based sensor system performs a real time, non-contact scan of the shape of the seam at the joint. It then transmits the current seam position to the control unit of the linear axes. Based on the submitted values, the unit can compensate tolerances in Y (lateral displacement) and Z (vertical offset), without changing the existing programming.
Motorized, 200mm Cross Slides
Cross slide packages with integrated motor sets provide movement along with Y (cross seam) and Z (vertical) directions. Face plates on slides provide bolt pattern suitable for mounting solution for various operations including MIG, TIG, Laser, or sub arc welding processes. Additional options available for longer slide lengths (up to 500 mm) and heavy duty for increased carrying capacity.
Control Cabinet/HMI Pendant
Standalone controls package with integrated PLC to provide versatile interface to existing machines. Allotted IO suitable for controlling many facets of the machine operation. Integrated HMI panel with e-stop provides ease of use in system set up and operation with joystick to support set up and manual operation of system.
