• DVS - Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e.V . - the DVS a technology and science oriented non-profit organization based in Düsseldorf, Germany. The DVS is leading when it comes to questions about joining, cutting and coating metalic and non-metalic materials and material combinations. It is independant and works on behalf of the members and for the welfare of the German economy.
• EWA - European Welding Association - the EWA is an industrial association, in which manufacturers of welding equipment and welding consumables from all over Europe and associations from the welding industry join together.
• The American Welding Society (AWS) was founded 1919 as a non-profit organization with the goal to advance the science, technology and application of welding and related joining disciplines. The AWS is the US equivalent to the DVS in Germany.
